Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions in adults
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
- Document patient encounters in the electronic health record
- Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Respond to patient messages within established timeframes
- Coordinate care with external providers when necessary
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of psychiatric best practices
- Support patient education on mental health conditions and treatments
- Adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards
- Manage a high-volume patient panel efficiently
- Complete prior authorizations and other required documentation
- Engage in peer review and clinical supervision
- Address psychiatric emergencies through appropriate protocols
- Contribute to clinical onboarding and training when needed
