Talkiatry is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a fully remote, outpatient role serving patients in Maine. What You'll Do
- Provide 100% remote, outpatient psychiatric care
- Treat lower to moderate acuity populations (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD)
- Conduct 60-minute intake sessions and 30-minute follow-up sessions
- Avoid inpatient, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization, or crisis coverage
- Collaborate within an integrated care model with in-house referral network to psychiatrists and therapists
- Utilize full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing
- Exercise clinical autonomy with control over schedule, session structure, and patient population
- Engage in clinical decision-making without pressure to shorten visits or increase volume
What We're Looking For
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority
- Minimum of 4 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
- Experience delivering outpatient psychiatric care
- Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Treatment planning and medication management
- Psychoeducation and supportive therapy
- Comfort practicing in a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model
- Proficiency using electronic medical records to document care accurately and efficiently
- Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and collaborative, team-based approach
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous clinical development

Total annual on-target earnings: $180k–$215k+ (base salary + monthly productivity), including an incentive guarantee during the initial onboarding ramp-up period.
Work Mode
Fully remote role with full control over schedule and weekly availability. Licensed providers must be authorized to practice in Maine.
