About the Role
Deliver psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, and manage treatment plans for patients via telehealth platforms.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments remotely
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders in adults and adolescents
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Monitor patient progress through follow-up appointments
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams when necessary
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and families
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards
- Use telehealth platforms to deliver timely care
- Respond to patient messages within defined timeframes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to clinical protocols and best practices
- Assess for risk of harm to self or others
- Coordinate care transitions when appropriate
- Engage in ongoing professional development
- Support patient engagement in treatment
- Conduct medication management visits
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans
- Uphold ethical standards in virtual care delivery
Nice to Have
- Experience treating complex psychiatric conditions
- Familiarity with behavioral health integration models
- Additional certifications in mental health specialties
- Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish
- Prior work with diverse patient populations
Compensation
Competitive pay based on experience, paid as 1099 contractor
