Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Arrange and manage medical appointments
- Oversee patient records and update electronic medical records
- Address urgent care calls and immediate tasks
- Participate in mandatory after-hours shift rotation
- Communicate through phone, email, text, and fax
- Collaborate with community partners and specialty providers
- Assist with the onboarding of new patients
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Reliable internet connection and HIPAA-compliant workspace
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Regular attendance to ensure quality patient care
- Availability to work approximately 5 overnight and/or weekend shifts
- Compliance with regulatory requirements, including no exclusion or debarment from Federal Health Care Programs and good standing with regulators
Nice to Have
- Some college education
- Basic knowledge of primary care operations
- Experience in the healthcare field

- This remote position requires the employee to be available and actively working during all designated business hours and assigned work schedule. This role cannot be performed intermittently or outside of the standard schedule due to the real-time nature of incoming patient calls and STAT tasks. This is a remote position requiring the ability to work from a home office with a reliable internet connection. Reliable internet and HIPAA-compliant workspace; you must have a confidential space to ensure HIPAA compliance and to preserve patient PHI. Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods, with frequent use of keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Ability to participate in video conference calls. High proficiency with computers and mobile devices.
