About the Role
The selected candidate will design, implement, and oversee structured group therapy programs for clients experiencing mental health challenges, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and individualized care plans.
Responsibilities
- Lead scheduled group therapy sessions using established clinical frameworks
- Develop individualized treatment goals in alignment with client needs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support client progress
- Monitor client behavioral changes and adjust interventions accordingly
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and ethical guidelines
- Conduct initial assessments to determine group placement
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Foster a safe and inclusive group environment
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Coordinate care with external providers when applicable
- Follow agency protocols for risk assessment and management
- Support clients in developing coping and emotional regulation strategies
- Track outcomes and report on group effectiveness
- Engage in regular supervision and case reviews
- Promote client engagement and retention in group programming
- Utilize trauma-informed practices in all interactions
- Adapt materials to meet diverse client backgrounds and needs
- Maintain professional boundaries and clinical objectivity
- Respond to client inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
Nice to Have
- Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy in group settings

- Specialization in trauma-focused interventions
- Previous remote clinical role experience
- Bilingual communication abilities
- Certification in mental health first aid
- Published work or presentations in mental health field
