Construction & Property Group is hiring a Remote Medical Biller to process and manage medical claims, ensuring timely and accurate billing to insurance companies and patients.
What You'll Do
- Accurately prepare and submit medical claims to various insurance providers.
- Review and verify claims to ensure all information is complete and correct.
- Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve any billing issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to address queries and discrepancies.
- Post payments, manage adjustments, and reconcile accounts as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing regulations, insurance policies, and compliance standards.
- Prepare and provide reports on claims submissions, payments, and denials.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding.
- Familiarity with various insurance plans and billing regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficient in using medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice to Have
- Proven experience in medical billing (1-2 years preferred).
