Horizon Recovery is hiring a Remote Lead Architect to shape the look, functionality, and feasibility of our residential projects. You will lead the full architectural process from initial concept through detailed drafting and rendering, delivering visually compelling and technically accurate drawings.
What You'll Do
- Lead the architectural design and development of residential projects from start to finish.
- Create and manage full sets of construction documents and 3D renderings.
- Interpret client requirements, site conditions, and local codes into functional designs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Oversee revisions, redlines, and technical detailing with exceptional accuracy.
- Maintain high standards in every drawing, ensuring consistency and precision.
- Proactively manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables for multiple concurrent projects.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a residential architect with a portfolio of completed home or duplex projects.
- Deep understanding of residential construction techniques, zoning requirements, and building codes.
- Excellent eye for design, proportion, and detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver under deadlines.
- Licensed Architect.
- Full-time availability in a US time zone.
Nice to Have
- Strong proficiency in Chief Architect is highly preferred.
