About the Role

The specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for patients entering the program, managing enrollment steps, answering questions, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth start to care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial outreach to new patients via phone and email
  • Guide individuals through the enrollment process from start to finish
  • Verify insurance and eligibility requirements accurately
  • Collect and confirm patient demographic and contact details
  • Explain program benefits and services in clear language
  • Address patient questions and concerns with empathy
  • Input and maintain data in secure electronic systems
  • Collaborate with care teams to share relevant patient information
  • Follow up on incomplete enrollments to ensure completion
  • Adhere to privacy standards and data security protocols
  • Resolve barriers preventing timely enrollment
  • Escalate complex cases to supervisors when necessary
  • Track interactions and outcomes in case management software
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of program policies
  • Support process improvements based on patient feedback
  • Meet performance goals related to accuracy and timeliness
  • Participate in regular training and team meetings
  • Ensure consistent communication across patient touchpoints
  • Manage high call volume while maintaining quality
  • Document patient interactions thoroughly and promptly
  • Navigate multiple systems efficiently during live calls
  • Uphold service standards during all patient interactions
  • Respond to patient inquiries within defined timeframes
  • Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations
  • Promote a positive experience during onboarding
