Responsibilities
- Load and unload pallets and move freight.
- Snow and ice removal around walkways, entrances, emergency exits, and utility access using shovels, snow blowers, and ice‑melt products; place caution signage as required.
- Report maintenance or safety issues (e.g., leaks, damage, pest sightings) immediately.
- Support emergency cleaning tasks or sanitation requests as needed.
- Transport staff, supplies, or equipment between designated areas within the camp or mine site.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain digital vehicle logs, and report deficiencies immediately.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and stocked with required safety/emergency equipment.
- Operate the vehicle in compliance with mine-specific road rules, speed limits, signage, and traffic protocols.
- Efficient route planning
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch or supervisors while on duty.
- Track mileage and work hours accurately.
- Support general labour tasks around the camp or job site when not driving.

- Participation in toolbox talks and JSAs

- Physical Demands: Sit for extended periods while driving; frequent entry/exit of vehicle in icy conditions.
- Physical Demands: Lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs.
- Physical Demands: Walk, bend, kneel, and climb steps as required; work with hands above shoulder height occasionally.
- Physical Demands: Work in varying environmental conditions, including extreme cold, wind, and low light
- A pre-employment FIT test will be performed by a 3rd party testing centre
