Corporate Immigration Attorneys is looking for a Remote Business Immigration Attorney to handle the preparation and filing of employment-based immigration cases. You will focus on complex areas including EB1, EB2-NIW, and responses to RFEs, managing a diverse caseload while partnering with colleagues in a dynamic setting.
What You'll Do
- Diligently prepare cases, develop legal strategies, and draft cover letters.
- Develop expert-level understanding of client cases for immigrant and non-immigrant petitions, specializing in EB1, EB2-NIW, and O-1 categories.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines, preparing and revising legal documents.
- Explain legal terminology to clients succinctly and in a timely manner.
- Research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions.
- Stay up-to-date on legislative changes that affect immigration policy.
- Develop solutions to complex legal questions.
- Provide training to client companies and individuals on legal topics and regulatory updates.
- Partner with colleagues to share information, resolve client issues, and support all client projects.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with clients and foreign nationals on procedural and strategic matters.
- Assess the eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for U.S. visa status.
- Work with global mobility personnel and the office of general counsel to prepare petitions for submission to the DOL and USCIS.
- Supervise paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation to ensure accuracy.
What We're Looking For
- A Juris Doctor or Master of Laws degree from an accredited US law school.
- A strong academic background.
- Admission to a US state bar in good standing.
- High-level organizational skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume law firm.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn across various practice areas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have
- 1-2 years of specific experience with EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs.
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin.
