Corporate Immigration Attorneys is seeking a Remote Bilingual Business Immigration Attorney fluent in Mandarin to join our team. In this role, you will specialize in high-volume, employment-based immigration cases, providing expert legal strategy and managing petitions from preparation through filing in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Diligently prepare cases, legal strategies, and cover letters.
- Develop an expert-level understanding of client cases, preparing immigrant and non-immigrant petitions with a focus on EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while preparing and revising documents.
- Explain complex legal terminology to clients succinctly and in a timely manner.
- Research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions.
- Stay current on legislative changes that may affect immigration.
- Develop solutions to complex legal questions.
- Provide training to client companies and individuals on substantive legal topics and new regulations.
- Partner with colleagues to share information, resolve client issues, and support all projects.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural issues and case strategy.
- Assess the eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for U.S. visa status.
- Work with global mobility personnel and general counsel, preparing petitions for submission to the DOL and USCIS.
- Supervise paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation to ensure accuracy.
What We're Looking For
- A Juris Doctor or Master of Laws degree from an accredited US law school.
- Admission to a US state bar in good standing.
- High-level organizational skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume law firm.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn across various practice areas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and with minimal supervision.
- Must reside in the state of Massachusetts.
Nice to Have
- 1-2 years of experience with EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs.
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin.
