Design and manage custom travel experiences for clients while building your own independent travel business. You’ll work remotely to craft detailed itineraries that align with each traveler’s preferences, budget, and goals, ensuring every detail is carefully arranged and executed.
What You'll Do
- Research destinations and develop tailored travel plans, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, cruises, and event tickets
- Assess client needs through direct communication to deliver personalized service
- Stay current with travel regulations, restrictions, and supplier updates
- Book all travel components efficiently and accurately
- Resolve any booking or travel-related issues promptly
- Develop promotional content to support your brand and outreach
- Attend supplier webinars to deepen expertise in key destinations
- Build relationships with tour operators to expand available offerings
- Maintain certification through ongoing training and education
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong communication skills; sales experience is beneficial
- Access to a smartphone with internet; a laptop is recommended but not mandatory

- Personal travel experience is advantageous
- Background in customer service or hospitality is a plus

Compensation
Agents earn commission on each booking, ranging from $200 for individual trips to $12,000 for large groups. Most suppliers offer commission rates up to 16% of total booking value. Income potential depends on volume and client base growth.
