Fullmind is looking for a Remote Bilingual Education Certified Social Science Teacher to deliver live-streamed virtual instruction. In this role, you will teach the school's curriculum on the district platform while tracking student progress and collaborating closely with an in-class facilitator.
What You'll Do
- Teach the curriculum of the school on the district virtual platform.
- Create lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum.
- Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment.
- Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships.
- Partner with an in-class facilitator who is physically in class with students.
- Record student progress and keep track of student grades and performance.
- Attend district professional development and faculty meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid NYS teacher certification in Middle School or High School Math, Science, or Social Studies.
- Must have, or be open to obtaining, the Bilingual Education Extension Certification (English/Spanish).
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
- Complete the recruitment process and submit a background check.
Nice to Have
- Prior online teaching experience is a plus.
Team & Environment
This role partners with an in-class facilitator physically present with students.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation is a daily rate of $325-$350. Rates are negotiable and subject to change.
