Valatam is seeking a detailed and organized Remote Accounting Assistant to join our team in supporting clients across Latin America. This is a 100% remote role ideal for a bilingual professional who thrives in a structured, independent environment.
What You'll Do
- Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions and prepare balance sheets.
- Track and reconcile bank statements.
- Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs) and process tax payments.
- Support monthly payroll and keep organized records.
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners as needed.
- Perform other similar or related tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent English (C1/C2) and Spanish.
- 1 – 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping assistance.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Quiet home office, stable internet (≥ 10 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up), and a backup connection.

- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree.

- Hourly rate equivalent to USD $696 – $1,044/month (based on experience).
