HSP Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Accounting Assistant to support their finance department in Hønefoss, Norway. The role involves managing monthly bookkeeping, financial reporting, multi-currency transactions, tax compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with Norwegian regulations.
What You'll Do
- Handle monthly bookkeeping and financial reporting for the organization
- Manage transactions across multiple currencies (NOK, EUR, USD)
- Prepare annual tax returns and financial statements in compliance with Norwegian regulations
- Reconcile accounts across various payment platforms (e.g., PayPal, AdSense)
- Process and record approximately 100-150 transactions annually
- Utilize Wave accounting software for daily operations
- Provide tax compliance guidance for both Norwegian and international operations
- Perform accurate bookkeeping tasks, including proper recording of expenses and income
- Collaborate with team members using online communication tools
- Support financial analysis and reporting to aid decision-making processes
- Maintain organized digital files and ensure data accuracy across all financial records
- Adapt to new accounting software and technologies as needed
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
- Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
