Responsibilities
- Clean, calibrate, and maintain non-sterile compounding equipment and designated workspaces.
- Assist with staging raw materials and managing non-sterile compounding inventory.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
- Participate in site-specific training, ongoing competency assessments, and annual revalidation.
- Maintain proper documentation, including batch records, ingredient logs, and cleaning logs.
- Follow USP <795> and <800> requirements and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
- Compound non-sterile medications (tablets, solutions, suspensions, gummy formulations, etc.) following prescription orders and site SOPs upon completion of certification.

- Night shift schedules: Front Half Nights: Sunday - Wednesday | 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Night shift schedules: Back Half Nights: Wednesday - Saturday | 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Shift differential included
- Working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) requires wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): gloves, respiratory protection, gown, and other required items
- Medical clearance required to wear respiratory protection (e.g., N95, full-face respirator, SCBA, PAPR)
- Physical exertion: walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100% of the time, squatting and bending up to 20% of the time, lifting up to 50 lbs. for up to a twelve-hour shift
- Associates must confirm understanding of potential reproductive risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity, and reproductive effects) associated with handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD)
