VON Canada (Ontario) is looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team as Visiting Nurses. In this role, you’ll provide essential client-centered health care directly in clients' homes and community settings. You will be responsible for delivering safe, appropriate care within established quality frameworks while working to the full scope of your nursing practice.
What You'll Do
- Provide client care through home visits in the client’s own home.
- Perform physical assessments, symptom control support, palliative care, rehabilitation therapy, and wound care.
- Provide education and counselling to individuals and families.
- Support children to continue their education in school.
- Use independent judgment to make decisions about client care.
- Collaborate with community health teams.
What We're Looking For
- Must be Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
- A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required.
- The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required.
Nice to Have
- Canadian Nurses Association certification in Community Health Nursing.
- Clinical practice experience.
- Experience in community health.
- For positions requiring expertise in a specific field of clinical practice, additional degrees or certificates may be required.
- A Vulnerable Sector Search and/or a Child Abuse Registry Check may be required.

Work Mode
This role is a local visiting position requiring travel within communities across Ontario, Canada.
