McLaren Health Care Village is hiring a Registered Nurse to be responsible for the quality of patient care provided to an assigned group of patients. In this role, you will indirectly supervise all nursing personnel assigned to your group of patients.
What You'll Do
- Perform basic patient care procedures and techniques competently, including the administration of medication, and organize patient care effectively.
- Perform assessment data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on the age, physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status of the patient.
- Complete, review, and evaluate the data collected by caregivers.
- Develop a plan of care that prescribes nursing actions to achieve patient goals.
- Identify patient and family learning needs and implement the appropriate process from admission to discharge.
What We're Looking For
- Active RN licensure.
- BCLS certification.
- Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
- One year of experience in the department's clinical specialty.
- A current Michigan driver's license and proof of valid automobile insurance with a clear Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Work Mode
This is a local-city position based in Cheboygan, Michigan.
