Colac Area Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Acute Permanent Pool, managed by the Central Resource Unit at Barwon Health. In this role, you will work across multiple sites and specialty bed-based services, providing high-quality nursing care. The position requires working up to 50% of weekends and 30% night duties.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care using evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in clinical practice.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and support continuous improvement in care delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Div 1).
- A minimum of 12 months of clinical experience.
- Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Sound clinical knowledge and excellent clinical skills.
- Ability to provide evidence-based, high-quality care to patients.
- Ability to deliver consumer-centred care that meets best practice standards and Barwon Health requirements.
