Colac Area Health is hiring a Clinical Psychologist (Grade 3) to provide expert psychological assessment and consumer-centred interventions at the Barwon Early Parenting Centre (BEPC). You will support families with children aged 0–4 years, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and linking families to community supports across the Barwon region.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct psychological care to families using evidence-based, consumer-centred approaches
- Deliver secondary consultation to community-based services and multidisciplinary team members
- Support assessment, intake, and care planning in line with BEPC frameworks and best practice
- Participate in service review, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical education for the team
What We're Looking For
- Masters or Doctoral qualification in Clinical, Health or Counselling Psychology
- AHPRA registration and specialist endorsement
- Experience working with families with children 0–4 years
- Strong knowledge of infant mental health and attachment theory
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, providing consultation, supervision, and education to colleagues
- Proven ability to provide evidence-based interventions to clients with diverse psychological and psychiatric needs
