McKesson seeks a Regional Vice President, Oncology to lead a team dedicated to building and maintaining relationships with key customers in the community oncology setting. You will act as a business advisor, leveraging McKesson's tools and services to support practice partners' success.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a team of oncology account managers, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to grow revenue and increase customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Monitor and analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs, address any issues, and ensure their success and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and changes in the healthcare landscape to inform decision-making and strategy development.
- Participate in business development activities to identify new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of professional experience.
- 4+ years of management experience.
- 4-Year degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of success in managing teams and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, as well as industry trends and changes.
- Experience in healthcare including distribution services, technology, and/or group purchasing organization.
- Complete understanding of the buy and bill process, medical and pharmacy benefits, and community practice economics.
- Advanced in everyday platforms (MS Office Suite).
- Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted – This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
- Physical ability to travel to current/potential customer sites, clinician meetings, and company events.
- Able to travel extensively overnight to customers 75%+ of the time by air.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record/MVR.

- Advanced degree, or equivalent experience a significant plus.
- 4+ years of experience leading people preferred.
- Highly collaborative individual capable of managing stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- Experience working with internal operations on related customer experiences and team workflows.
