Builders Capital Exchange is hiring a Regional Vice President of Originations. This is a strategic outside sales role where you will originate construction loans for the top private home builders in your region. You will develop and execute a plan to build lasting relationships with the top 300 builders, structure complex financing solutions, and quarterback deals from outreach to closing.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a focused strategy to identify, engage, and build lasting relationships with the top 300 private home builders in your region.
- Prospect, network, and cultivate relationships with high-volume builders, developers, architects, land brokers, and key industry influencers.
- Structure and originate loan products including vertical construction, land development, bridge financing, and multifamily projects.
- Lead transactions from initial outreach through structuring, underwriting, approval, and closing, collaborating with internal teams.
- Consult with builders on deal structure, leverage, timing, and risk mitigation as a trusted advisor.
- Develop and implement a targeted sales plan with measurable goals to capture market share.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3+ years in construction finance or residential/commercial mortgage lending.
- Strong understanding of construction loan structures and builder workflows.
- Demonstrated ability or strong ambition to prospect and win business with professional home builders and developers.
- Exceptional communication skills, polished and professional with high-level operators.
- Strategic problem-solving ability to structure creative solutions.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally as a collaborative team player.
- High ethical standards committed to integrity and transparency.
- Adaptability and drive to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
