The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned geography by applying 80/20 principles to meet or exceed targets. The RSM will build strong customer relationships, deliver tailored solutions, and coordinate internal and external resources to ensure sustainable, profitable growth and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry influencers, and stakeholders to drive business growth and enhance the company's reputation.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's customer base in the assigned region.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Develop and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and technical proposals to prospective and existing customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and key metrics to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to remain competitive in the market.
- Note: These are general duties required to fulfill the Regional Sales Manager role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to meet changing business and technology demands.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience with a record of achieving sales goals in technical sales.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and market trends to drive business growth.
- Ability to travel up to 70%.
- Ability to work long hours in a sedentary position at a computer performing repetitive motions.
- Ability to move objects and materials of at least 25 lbs.
- Ability to collaborate with operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE when onsite.
- Frequent domestic and international travel.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline preferred.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) a plus.
