Drive Regional Growth Through Strategic Sales Leadership

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for expanding market presence and achieving revenue goals within an assigned territory. By focusing on high-impact customers and opportunities using 80/20 principles, this role shapes and executes sales strategies that deliver measurable, profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, industry partners, and stakeholders to strengthen market position and brand credibility.
  • Create and execute targeted sales plans that grow the customer base and consistently meet or exceed performance targets.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer needs to uncover new business opportunities and refine sales approaches.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customized proposals to both prospective and existing clients.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and aligned go-to-market efforts.
  • Generate and present performance reports covering sales outcomes, market insights, and key business metrics to senior leadership.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry advancements, emerging technologies, and evolving customer expectations to remain competitive.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years in technical sales with a demonstrated history of meeting or surpassing sales objectives.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, inspire collaboration, and drive results in complex environments.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical abilities to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70%, including domestic and international destinations.

Preferred Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce.

Work Environment

This role requires frequent travel and extended periods working remotely or in manufacturing settings. Candidates must be able to work long hours at a computer, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and use required personal protective equipment when visiting operational sites.
