About the Role

CrowdStrike is hiring a Regional Sales Manager, New Accounts to directly sell enterprise security software solutions and drive incremental revenue from new customers. This field sales role is fully accountable for planning, prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business, primarily through flexible and scalable licensing models.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect, identify, qualify, and close new customer revenue within assigned accounts by building relationships with key decision makers.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans, mapping CrowdStrike’s solutions to customer business requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders during customer onboarding, product adoption, expansion, and eventual transition of accounts.
  • Provide timely documentation of customer contact and activity data within CRM and marketing software.
  • Maintain accountability for accurate forecasting, regular quarterly revenue delivery, and implementation of agreed account plans.
  • Promote CrowdStrike’s products, maximize brand recognition, and publicize success stories.
  • Provide customer feedback to internal stakeholders for product, systems, and process improvements.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Expert-level experience resolving complex issues using professional concepts and company objectives.
  • Deep industry knowledge and understanding of customer decision-making processes, goals, strategies, and business objectives.
  • Expert-level presentation, customer service, financial acumen, and negotiation skills at all levels of customer engagement.
  • A complete, "big-picture" understanding of the business and technical contexts of key account opportunities.
  • A driven, self-starter who exudes leadership on account sets and compels others to get on board.
  • Full adeptness at consultative effectiveness and establishing trust with internal and external customers.
  • Fully functional knowledge of sales methodologies, techniques, the sales lifecycle of security software solutions, software business value concepts, and the company's products.
  • Expert-level knowledge of selling CrowdStrike’s products and services.
  • Experience with larger, more complex accounts where assigned quotas are typically higher.
  • Experience routinely selling to and interacting with executive-level customer decision makers, up to CXO levels, typically within Enterprise accounts or commensurately complex public sector accounts.

Nice to Have

  • A BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred.

Team & Environment

Effectively collaborates with other teams, including Account Managers, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, Channel / Alliances sales teams, Finance and Customer Support, as well as external parties such as Alliance and Channel Partners.

This is a remote position for candidates located in the greater Chicago Area.
