Cogent Security is hiring a Regional Sales Manager

About the Role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales initiatives in a designated territory, identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and closing deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned regions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead to close
  • Coordinate with marketing to support regional campaigns
  • Provide feedback on customer needs to product teams
  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Represent the company at industry events
  • Onboard new clients and ensure smooth handoff to account management
  • Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Support strategic planning for regional expansion
  • Ensure compliance with company sales policies
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth areas
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
