Open Farm is hiring a Regional Sales Manager (East)

About the Role

Lead and expand sales efforts in the eastern region by developing key accounts, securing new retail placements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with regional retail partners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory
  • Execute sales strategies to increase product distribution and visibility
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align on campaign rollouts
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends in the region
  • Present product offerings to prospective and existing clients
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with retailers
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics regularly
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards in retail environments
  • Coordinate in-store promotions and product launches
  • Drive sell-through by supporting retail sales teams
  • Manage pipeline forecasts and sales projections
  • Attend industry events and trade shows as required
  • Resolve customer issues related to delivery, inventory, or service
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
  • Support national sales initiatives at the regional level
  • Work closely with logistics to ensure on-time deliveries
  • Advocate for customer feedback to internal product teams
  • Promote brand integrity during all client interactions
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Conduct regular territory reviews and route planning
  • Train retail staff on product knowledge when needed
  • Leverage data to optimize sales approaches
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines
  • Ensure ethical business practices in all dealings
