The Regional Sales Manager will drive growth in the municipal UV treatment market by managing customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and expanding Trojan Technologies' presence in northern France. Reporting to the Municipal Sales Manager for the European Union, this role combines technical B2B sales, strategic planning, and field engagement with up to 60% travel required.
What You'll Do
- Create monthly sales plans to meet targets using customer engagement, Value Selling, and funnel management
- Build a strong network of customers and channel partners to promote UV solutions (Trojan UV/Aquafides) in the municipal water sector
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders influencing purchasing decisions
- Monitor and report on market trends, competition, and opportunities during monthly reviews
- Engage in sales activities like site visits, trade shows, demos, and channel management
- Provide field input for corporate initiatives (e.g., market research, Kaizen, beta testing)
- Support proposal development and contract negotiations
- Track KPIs monthly and implement corrective actions as needed
- Lead all municipal product activities for Trojan Technologies
- Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external customers
- Use CRM to log activities and manage opportunities
- Use CRM to present monthly funnel and forecast reviews
- Use CRM to capture Voice of Customer insights to identify new opportunities
- Execute regional growth strategies
- Apply strategic thinking and innovative tactics to drive success
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in technical B2B sales, ideally within the water or environmental sector
- French native
- Fluent in English
- Ability to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory
Nice to Have
- Degree in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent
