SGS Australia / Fulcrum Robotics is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to generate revenue by cultivating new business and developing long-term partnerships within the food industry. You will utilize a consultative selling approach, assess customer needs, and create solutions to achieve sales targets for the Southeastern US territory.
What You'll Do
- Achieve sales revenue goals in your defined sales territory.
- Manage all sales activities, including audits, training, and full solutions within the Southeastern US.
- Develop and implement an agreed-upon business and marketing plan to expand the customer base.
- Work within sales and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals.
- Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Sell and make recommendations to prospects and clients on company solutions.
- Generate proposals in compliance with accreditation and sector requirements.
- Maximize opportunities during the sales process to take market share from competitors.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities.
- Gather and submit detailed business information for pricing.
- Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses.
- Participate in the development of educational programs offered to clients.
- Maintain effective working relationships with all support departments.
- Assist in implementing company marketing plans.
- Include the appropriate International Sales Manager (ISM) or International Account Manager (IAM) on any Global Key Account opportunities.
- Adopt safe behavior regarding the health and safety of SGS employees and clients.
- Comply with the SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
- Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales.
- Experience with ISO standards.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the Certification industry.
