Responsibilities
- Direct all regional planning and execution efforts to ensure strong market entry and ongoing product adoption
- Convert national brand strategies into localized business plans and field-level priorities
- Guide the team to meet or surpass sales targets, market share goals, and key performance indicators pre- and post-launch
- Analyze market trends, customer input, and competitor activity to adapt strategy quickly
- Promote performance accountability using data insights and consistent execution standards
- Recruit, onboard, train, and retain high-achieving territory managers across the region
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 8–12 territory managers
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in disease area, clinical data, and product details
- Assess territory manager performance and support skill growth and career progression through regular field engagement
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, teamwork, and ongoing improvement
- Create robust succession plans and talent development pipelines
- Develop and sustain relationships with key physicians, health systems, integrated delivery networks, and strategic accounts
- Collaborate with territory managers on critical customer engagements, access barriers, and account planning
- Drive adoption within IDNs, organized customers, and high-priority accounts
- Share timely customer insights with internal cross-functional partners
- Work closely with Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, Operations, and HR to ensure launch preparedness
- Provide frontline feedback to shape brand strategy, messaging, and tactical execution
- Coordinate with peer regional leaders to align practices and ensure consistency across territories
- Participate in national meetings, launch initiatives, and field communications
- Ensure all regional activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
- Oversee regional budgeting and resource allocation efficiently
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting, CRM data integrity, and consistent reporting
- Champion organizational values including collaboration, integrity, quality, trust, and urgency
