Eli Lilly Canada is looking for a Regional Manager for Diabetes & Metabolic Health to own the commercial responsibility for our current and future portfolio at the specialist level in West and East Flanders. You will focus on executing customer-facing activities, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving sales and promotion in this key therapeutic area.
What You'll Do
- Drive sales and promotion of the diabetes/metabolic health portfolio towards specialists such as Diabetologists, Endocrinologists, Obesity specialists, and Cardiologists.
- Be responsible for key products within their current indications, new key product launches, and NILEX launches.
- Act as the product and Lilly ambassador in the region, with deep knowledge of products, key customers, accounts, conventions, and hospital structures.
- Create, implement, and improve concrete Account Plans for major hospitals and universities.
- Excel in territory management, including managing appointments, coverage, and call rates for different Healthcare Professional (HCP) tierings.
- Master and integrate Value Based Selling (VBS) techniques within strategic marketing message implementation.
- Challenge existing treatment habits by identifying gaps to reaching better patient outcomes.
- Execute in a multichannel world through live or virtual representation during F2F contacts, meetings, congresses, and in-hospital events.
- Actively integrate digital activities and touchpoints into plans, optimizing the channel mix.
- Work cross-functionally, building on experience within current commercial teams.
- Independently implement plans, challenge execution, evaluate results, and adapt to accomplish business objectives.
- Maximize national results by sharing regional successes and failures to remove roadblocks for the entire team.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager, sharing responsibility for overall sales results in the region.
- Participate actively with Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaison, and Marketing to define and optimize activity implementation and customer program needs.
- Ensure identification and notification of adverse events, complaints, or counterfeiting to concerned internal services and ensure compliance with sample management processes.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree with special interest in health or health care.
- Experience in pharmaceutical sales or customer-facing experience within a commercial setting.
- Strong self-drive, self-motivation, passion, enthusiasm, and persuasion.
- Very strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A proven selling skillset in one-on-one and group settings.
- Ability to hold high-level exchanges with customers and understand scientific data in the domain.
- A strong command of English.
- Being digitally savvy.
Team & Environment
You will report to the Sales Manager and engage in cross-functional collaboration with current commercial teams, Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaison, and Marketing.
Work Mode
This is a local-country position based in West and East Flanders, Belgium.
