CBRE Global Workplace Solutions seeks a Regional Manager to lead our Data Center activities across the Netherlands and Belgium. You will oversee a regional team, execute strategic objectives, and coordinate operations as part of our Operations Management function.
What You'll Do
- Provide formal supervision to employees, including performance evaluations, coaching, training, development, and recruitment.
- Manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and set deadlines.
- Implement strategic objectives to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure high-quality customer service is delivered, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis, staying current with industry trends.
- Hold regular meetings with senior management and clients to discuss needs and provide updates.
- Develop and submit short and long-term strategic plans, utilizing marketing programs.
- Identify, track, and report on key performance metrics and return on investment.
- Lead by example, modeling company values and influencing your team.
- Identify and solve complex technical and operational problems.
- Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the discipline.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant experience in a similar role within Data Centers, Critical Infrastructure, or Facility Management.
- Both commercial and technical understanding of critical managed services.
- Proven leadership skills to motivate a team towards operational targets.
- A connector mentality with the ability to interact with site staff, suppliers, and customers.
- A KPI-driven attitude with experience in high-pressure environments.
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to lead sensitive, complicated conversations and handle performance issues.
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written), with persuasiveness towards stakeholders.
- Outstanding presentation skills and in-depth knowledge of modern IT tools.
- Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- A strong customer focus and ability to foster team spirit.
- A structured, methodological working style.
- A high level of achievement motivation.
