Sonesta International Hotels is hiring a Regional Director of Operations & Revenue Development to champion brand equity and operational excellence across a portfolio of hotels. In this role, you will be a key consultant, driving net unit growth by supporting properties in your assigned territory through strategic reviews, training, and direct sales support.
What You'll Do
- Conduct on-property business performance consultative visits with owners and operators.
- Analyze, develop, and deliver Business Performance 360 reviews with actionable improvement recommendations.
- Review and update Property Improvement Plans (PIP).
- Lead periodic training sessions on-property and at regional events for brand program execution.
- Monitor and follow up on action items like PIPs, RFPs, and other time-sensitive obligations.
- Conduct hotel market assessments to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
- Partner with hotels on in-market sales calls to develop booked and qualified leads.
- Collaborate with the regional Franchise Services Manager on performance and escalated support.
- Advocate for franchisee feedback to improve brand tools, resources, and strategies.
- Engage in resolving escalated owner feedback regarding brand performance and license agreements.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 10+ years of professional, multi-unit hotel operations and revenue generation leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, electronic scheduling, email, business intelligence tools, and CRM systems.
- Highly organized, self-starting, with proven ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task across different disciplines and time zones using various communication methods.
- Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.

This remote role oversees a territory of 40-45 properties and centers on building primary stakeholder relationships with Hotel Owners, Operators, Management Companies, and internal Sonesta teams.

This is a remote position requiring you to be based in Texas. The territory includes properties in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
