Robusta Technology Group (RTG) is hiring a Senior QA professional for the Octopus project. This remote, 11-month role requires expertise in Microsoft Dynamics and focuses on comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies to ensure software quality.
What You'll Do
- Design, plan, and oversee comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies across all development lifecycle stages.
- Develop, maintain, and execute robust automated test scripts and frameworks while performing meticulous manual testing.
- Find, document, and track defects with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring clear communication and efficient resolution.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for all quality-related matters, leading a team of QA engineers and analysts.
- Lead challenging client discussions regarding quality standards, test results, and defect management, translating technical findings into business insights.
- Architect and refine test strategies, including risk-based testing, regression testing plans, and automation coverage.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are met while mentoring junior QA staff.
- Stay abreast of emerging testing tools and methodologies, driving innovation in QA processes.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance and quality control.
- At least 2 years in a senior or lead QA role.
- Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing, including hands-on experience with automation frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites for complex software systems.
- Strong track record of identifying, isolating, and documenting critical bugs and edge cases.
- Experience leading and mentoring QA teams and managing quality processes in Agile or hybrid development environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
