Sprout.ai is hiring a Technical Project Manager to lead the implementation of our AI-powered solutions for insurance clients in Japan. You will be responsible for managing the entire deployment process, from requirements gathering to successful go-live, ensuring maximum customer value and adoption.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end project delivery for Japanese customers, across proofs‑of‑concept and production deployments.
- Define, gain agreement on, and communicate project milestones; create and maintain a pragmatic, risk‑aware delivery plan.
- Safeguard team pace and quality through proactive progress tracking, early issue identification, and structured root‑cause analysis.
- Work with customers to prove the value of Sprout technology in test cases and support the success of proofs‑of‑concept.
- Ensure satisfaction across the customer hierarchy, from C‑level stakeholders to daily product users.
- Drive overall customer success and act as an escalation point for ongoing service issues.
What We're Looking For
- Native‑level fluency in Japanese.
- Advanced business‑level English.
- Experience delivering complex software projects, partnering with Software Engineers and Data Scientists.
- Experience delivering technical projects and software implementations for external customers.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Proven ability to develop relationships across a customer hierarchy.
- Strong communication skills to bridge customer needs with internal team constraints.
- Self‑starter with an appetite to learn new technology and customer domains.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence concepts (e.g., LLMs, Natural Language Processing, OCR).
- Insurance domain knowledge.
- Business Analysis or Customer Success experience.
- Experience working in asynchronous or remote‑first environments.
Team & Environment
You will be a foundational member of the Japanese team, working closely with the Japan Country Manager and the Growth team in the UK.
