About the Role

Elior North America is looking for a Regional Director, Operations to oversee multiple food service accounts, ensuring we meet financial goals and exceed client expectations. You will drive operational excellence in San Francisco while fostering a culture of professional growth.

What You'll Do

  • Take full responsibility for all operational aspects, with a focus on sales, profitability, and people development.
  • Manage financial reporting, P&L analysis, annual budgets, and cash handling.
  • Lead salaried managers and hourly associates within the Food Service Department.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all local, state, and federal laws.
  • Maintain food cost controls while upholding quality standards.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with staff, clients, and guests.
  • Analyze financial data to identify and act on trends.
  • Oversee purchasing and inventory control systems.
  • Collaborate with chefs on menu planning.
  • Apply knowledge of HACCP controls and proper food storage and use.

What We're Looking For

  • Five to eight years of direct food service operational management experience.
  • Proven inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
  • Strong understanding of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, and cost control.
  • Demonstrated supervisory, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for all levels—management, client, customer, and associate.
  • Advanced financial, budgetary, and accounting skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, email, and the internet.
  • Current ServSafe® Certification.

Nice to Have

  • A B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or a related field.
  • An A.A. Degree plus four years of directly related experience.
  • Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience.

You will manage salaried managers and hourly associates in the Food Service Department.
