Drive growth in the medical device market by leading commercial efforts for advanced catheter components across Costa Rica. As a Regional Account Manager, you’ll identify new business opportunities, deepen relationships with key decision-makers, and guide targeted accounts through the sales lifecycle—from initial contact to long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with engineering, procurement, and operations teams at OEMs and contract manufacturers.
- Develop and execute a regional account plan that aligns with strategic growth goals, targeting both existing and emerging customers.
- Use CRM tools to track leads, manage opportunities, and ensure timely follow-up across the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and technical teams to shape value propositions and sales enablement materials tailored to regional needs.
- Lead commercial discussions, including business reviews, recurring account calls, and on-site meetings, to expand product adoption.
- Translate market insights into actionable strategies, prioritizing opportunities by revenue potential, fit, and time to close.
- Support global initiatives by sharing customer feedback and market intelligence to inform product development and go-to-market approaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or marketing.
- At least five years of sales experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on OEM and contract manufacturing clients.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate at multiple organizational levels.
- Strong commercial judgment, strategic planning skills, and a track record of meeting revenue targets.
- Skilled in aligning cross-functional teams and driving initiatives from concept to execution.
- Adaptable, results-oriented, and capable of turning vision into measurable action.
Work Environment
This role is based in Costa Rica with regular regional travel expected—approximately 50–75%—to meet with clients and support on-site engagements. You’ll work within a collaborative, innovation-driven culture that values diverse perspectives and professional development.
