About the Role
The Regional Account Executive will identify and close new business opportunities in the public sector, focusing on law enforcement and municipal agencies. This role requires strategic outreach, solution positioning, and collaboration with prospects to address public safety challenges through technology.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within government entities
- Conduct outreach to law enforcement and city officials to understand public safety needs
- Deliver product demonstrations tailored to agency objectives
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline in assigned region
- Negotiate contracts and close deals independently
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
- Travel frequently within Tennessee and Kentucky to meet clients
- Track all sales activities using CRM software
- Present at public safety conferences and industry events
- Educate prospects on the impact of technology in reducing crime
- Develop territory plans to maximize market penetration
- Respond to RFPs and formal procurement processes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local public safety initiatives
- Advocate for customer needs internally
- Deliver quarterly business reviews to stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Prior sales experience in physical security or surveillance technology
- Existing relationships with law enforcement agencies
- Understanding of budget cycles in local government
- Experience with enterprise software sales

Compensation
Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
