About the Role
The Regional Account Executive will identify and close sales opportunities by building relationships with law enforcement and municipal decision-makers in designated regions, promoting a technology platform designed to enhance community safety and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories
- Conduct virtual and in-person presentations to law enforcement and government stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in public safety agencies
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies for municipal and county departments
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met during the sales cycle
- Respond to requests for proposals and support procurement processes
- Track and report on sales activities and pipeline progress
- Educate prospects on the benefits of crime prevention technology
- Address objections and provide solutions aligned with agency goals
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional public safety challenges
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences
- Gather customer feedback to inform product and service improvements
- Ensure compliance with all sales policies and procedures
- Support onboarding and implementation for new customers
Nice to Have
- Prior sales experience in the Southwest or Southern U.S. regions
- Existing relationships with law enforcement agencies
- Familiarity with grant funding processes in public agencies
- Background in criminal justice or public administration
Compensation
Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission structure
Work Arrangement
Remote with regional travel required
