FRDA LLC is hiring a Recruitment & Human Resources Officer to support headquarters, project, and proposal recruitment for US government clients. In this role, you will lead strategic recruitment, develop sustainable talent pipelines, implement efficient processes, and provide general HR support.
What You'll Do
- Manage full lifecycle recruiting, including requisition creation, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
- Develop and implement a responsive project recruitment process for client-specific needs, handling high-volume recruitment of long-term and short-term staff.
- Lead strategic recruitment efforts, including supporting the development of sourcing and retention strategies.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies with hiring managers and business development leaders.
- Support hiring managers on recruiting processes and ATS/HRIS system usage.
- Report on recruitment data to provide status updates and overall project snapshots.
- Communicate regularly with hiring managers and client stakeholders to understand talent needs.
- Ensure recruitment process compliance with organizational, state, and federal employment regulations.
- Serve as the point of contact for the onboarding and orientation of new hires.
- Support cross-functional HR initiatives including labor classification, compensation alignment, and audit readiness.
- Respond to inquiries related to benefits and ensure HR files are accurate and current.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, international development, or a related field. Experience and/or recruitment certifications may be used in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in full life cycle recruitment within the USG, defense, and military sectors.
- Demonstrated experience working with multiple hiring managers simultaneously while maintaining excellent relationships.
- Knowledge of trends in innovating recruitment techniques, with a focus on recruiting cleared talent.
- Experience balancing and following through on a variety of open positions across multiple disciplines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with different audiences.
- Familiarity with interview and applicant screening best practices.
- Demonstrated experience ensuring intentional inclusion in staffing practices.
- At least an active secret security clearance.
Nice to Have
- Prior general HR experience.
- Experience using Paylocity.
- Military experience or experience developing/supporting military and Veteran recruitment strategies.
