House Buyers of America is hiring a Recruiter (Contract Role)

About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for various roles within the organization. This role will work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills and fit.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to schedule interviews and provide feedback on candidates.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate status.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to improve recruitment processes and enhance the candidate experience.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events, to source candidates.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open positions and recruitment efforts.
  • Participate in job fairs and other recruitment events to promote the organization and attract candidates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation of new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in recruitment.
  • Provide support to the HR team in other areas as needed, such as employee relations and benefits administration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Prepare and submit reports on recruitment activities and outcomes to senior management.
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing employees to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Provide support to the HR team in the development and delivery of training and development programs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute recruitment materials and campaigns.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Provide support to the HR team in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
  • Conduct regular audits of recruitment processes and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Certification in recruitment or talent acquisition, such as the Certified Recruitment Professional (CRP) or Certified Talent Acquisition Professional (CTAP).
  • Experience with a variety of recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in recruitment.
  • Ability to analyze recruitment data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
