About the Role
This role is responsible for managing end-to-end vendor operations, including selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and contract compliance, to ensure alignment with organizational standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end vendor lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
- Evaluate vendor performance using defined metrics and reporting tools
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and service level agreements
- Coordinate procurement processes in alignment with project needs
- Serve as primary point of contact for vendor-related inquiries and escalations
- Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve vendor efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define vendor requirements
- Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies for vendor relationships
- Facilitate regular performance reviews and feedback sessions with vendors
- Monitor adherence to regulatory and quality standards
- Negotiate contract terms in coordination with legal and procurement teams
- Track vendor deliverables against project timelines
- Ensure continuity of service through proactive vendor management
- Conduct due diligence for new vendor onboarding
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vendor landscape and market trends
- Support audits related to vendor activities and compliance
- Develop and maintain vendor management policies and procedures
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving multiple vendors
- Promote accountability and transparency in vendor interactions
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in business administration or related discipline
- Experience in clinical research or healthcare-related vendor management
- Advanced proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) credential
- Experience managing global vendors
