Providence Health & Services is hiring a Recreational Therapist for the PACE program at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center. In this role, you will provide therapeutic social, recreational, and diversional events, conduct individual assessments, and actively contribute to interdisciplinary care planning to support our participants.
What You'll Do
- Provide a variety of therapeutic social, recreational, and diversional events for participants.
- Conduct individual assessments to identify participants' individual interests and needs.
- Develop and implement an appropriate variety of individual and group activities.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
- Coordinate the recreation documentation for your assigned group of participants.
- Assist with training and supervising assigned aides.
- Lead facility-wide participant-centered events.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Certification.
Nice to Have
- 2 years providing recreation with the elderly or disabled.
