LyondellBasell (LYB) is hiring a Raw Materials, Production and Transport Scheduler. In this role, you will optimize production planning for finished goods, raw materials, and transport with a strong focus on profitability. You will ensure proper inventory rotation and on-time availability for both plant supply and carrier pickup, guaranteeing timely deliveries to customers.
What You'll Do
- Manage raw material purchasing, MRP, supplier confirmations, and invoice handling.
- Coordinate bulk material distribution and oversee storage, shelf life, and safety compliance.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets and support raw material supply, shortages, and deliveries.
- Provide backup for transport and finished goods planning.
- Optimize production planning, sequencing, and packaging allocation.
- Ensure stock availability, maintain inventory levels, and reduce slow-moving or obsolete items.
- Maintain MRP data, create SAP packaging recipes, and assign batches using FIFO methodology.
- Support transport or raw materials planning when needed.
- Process customer orders and prepare transport documentation.
- Assign batches (FIFO), coordinate carrier pickups, and manage container and bulk loadings.
- Handle export coordination, customs issues, and urgent or atypical shipments.
- Report carrier incidents and support purchasing evaluations.
- Contribute to sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Participate in logistics safety inspections.
What We're Looking For
- A degree or graduate qualification in Economics or Business. Specific medium/superior studies related to logistics activities are also valid.
- A high level of spoken and written English and Spanish.
- Good knowledge of the planning process and MRP.
- High knowledge of SAP and notions of Business Warehouse.
- Excellent MS-Office experience, especially Excel.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of other languages: German, French, or Italian.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and Incoterms.
- Knowledge of warehouse organization and management.
- Experience in a similar position.
