The Epic Resolute Analyst plays a key role in shaping and maintaining the Professional Billing functionality within the Epic electronic health record system. You will serve as a bridge between technical systems and financial operations, ensuring that provider billing, charge capture, claims processing, and reimbursement workflows are efficient, accurate, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess existing revenue cycle processes and recommend enhancements to reduce denials and improve financial performance.
- Lead testing initiatives for system updates, patches, and configuration changes to ensure stability and compliance.
- Collaborate with revenue cycle, clinical, and IT teams to align system capabilities with operational needs.
- Implement and maintain system upgrades, applying best practices in change management and system governance.
- Support the development and delivery of training materials in coordination with the Epic Training Team.
- Monitor evolving healthcare regulations and adapt system configurations and policies accordingly.
- Document and maintain procedures that support regulatory compliance and operational consistency.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or have at least four years of experience in Revenue Cycle management. A minimum of three years in healthcare IT with a focus on Professional Billing is required. You should possess strong knowledge of Epic EHR, especially Resolute Professional Billing modules, and hold at least one Epic Resolute certification. Proficiency in MS Office, clear communication skills, and strong analytical abilities are essential.
Preferred qualifications include Epic certification in Resolute Professional Billing Administration and Resolute Professional Billing Claims.
Work Environment
This role operates in a remote capacity, supporting a large health system’s revenue cycle infrastructure. While the position is remote, collaboration with on-site teams in Louisville, KY is expected as needed.
