Inventive Food Technology is hiring a Raw Material Planner to ensure the timely supply of materials for uninterrupted production and best-in-class customer service. This role manages the supply and demand alignment for a global, multi-site, or complex single-site operation based in Grasse.
What You'll Do
- Plan both short- and long-term to align supply and demand to support inventory needs.
- Facilitate collaboration meetings with stakeholders and vendors to review purchase forecasts, proposed orders, and operational issues.
- Monitor the movement of materials through purchasing, storage, production, and retail distribution.
- Set preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory.
- Solve problems of raw material shortages.
- Liaise with local material coordinators or site supply chain managers to ensure a smooth and aligned day-to-day planning process.
- Optimize material availability, global inventory days, inventory write-off, and obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
- Design and create new tools to improve the planning functions of the supply chain.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality, timely delivery, and contract compliance.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in operational planning or a similar role.
- Knowledge of MS Office tools, specifically Excel.
- Excellent business English communication skills.
- Effective communication, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Accountability and a continuous improvement attitude.
Nice to Have
- Training in SAP, APO, or MRP in functional areas of expertise.
- APICS Module I (Basics of Supply Chain Management) training.
