About the Role

The role involves leading market expansion efforts for rare disease treatments by engaging key stakeholders, supporting product adoption, and ensuring alignment across internal departments to optimize patient access and commercial success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals specializing in rare diseases
  • Drive product awareness and education among key opinion leaders
  • Collaborate with medical affairs and market access teams to support patient onboarding
  • Identify market opportunities and execute targeted commercial strategies
  • Monitor regional performance metrics and adjust tactics accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies in all field activities
  • Coordinate with supply chain to maintain product availability
  • Gather and report market intelligence to inform strategic planning
  • Support launch readiness for new product indications
  • Facilitate payer and provider discussions to improve access pathways
  • Organize and lead regional advisory board meetings
  • Act as a primary field contact for internal stakeholders
  • Track and report competitive activity in the rare disease space
  • Deliver product training to external partners as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical developments in rare diseases

Nice to Have

  • Prior work with patient advocacy organizations
  • Familiarity with HTA bodies and reimbursement processes
