Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is hiring a Radiologist Assistant to directly support Attending Radiologists and fellows in providing patient care. You will be a key member of the Interventional Radiology team, assisting with procedures, education, and coordinating between services.
What You'll Do
- Obtain and review patient clinical history prior to any procedure.
- Obtain and document informed consent for credentialed procedures.
- Perform procedures, including appropriate administration of contrast material, in accordance with credentials.
- Assist the attending Radiologist with procedures as requested.
- Acquire relevant images to adequately document the procedure performed.
- Post-procedure, enter appropriate documentation and orders into the medical record, and prepare preliminary reports and dictations with appropriate codes.
- Obtain and evaluate vital signs, perform limited physical examination as appropriate, reporting findings to a collaborating Radiologist.
- Act as a liaison between referring services and Radiologist and arrange appropriate follow-up based on clinical findings.
- Assist with the education of technologists, Radiologist Assistant students, and residents.
What We're Looking For
- Completion of an accredited RA program with an MS in Health Science.
- ARRT certification as a Registered Radiologist Assistant.
- New York State Department of Health licensure.
- BLS/ACLS certification.

You will join the Interventional Radiology team, reporting to the Manager, Radiologist Assistant.
Benefits & Compensation
- $10,000 sign-on bonus for new Radiologist Assistant hires
- Compensation range: $133,500.00-$220,400.00 annually
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at the Main Hospital, 1275 York Avenue, Manhattan, NYC.
