As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a central role in guiding the financial direction of property development and renovation projects across the APAC region. Your expertise will ensure that every project aligns with both budgetary goals and high-quality standards, supporting sustainable expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop initial cost forecasts and feasibility assessments for new properties and interior upgrades to inform strategic investment decisions.
- Lead the tendering process for fit-out and refurbishment works, from contractor sourcing to documentation and bid evaluation.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to secure optimal value while maintaining performance and compliance.
- Prepare and administer contracts with suppliers, builders, and service providers, ensuring legal and operational safeguards.
- Track project expenditures and timelines, reviewing progress claims and managing change orders efficiently.
- Deliver final financial reconciliations at project closeout.
- Work closely with Design and Project teams to identify savings through value engineering, without sacrificing brand or design standards.
- Develop and maintain a vetted network of contractors and vendors to support fast, reliable delivery across markets.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Management, or Civil Engineering, with 2–4 years of hands-on experience. Familiarity with Singapore’s local construction contracts (SIA/REDAS), material pricing, and labor costs is essential. Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
Preference will be given to those with background in interior fit-out, hospitality, or residential renovation projects. Prior involvement in heavy civil works is less relevant.
Work Environment
This role supports a globally distributed team with operations across APAC. The culture values results, authenticity, collaboration, and a practical, solution-driven mindset. Initiative and accountability are highly encouraged.
