This part-time role supports children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities through structured behavioral interventions at a pediatric care clinic. Under the guidance of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts, the technician delivers individualized support plans and helps families and trainees understand and apply effective techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver behavior analytic services tailored to each child’s developmental goals
- Collaborate with supervising analysts to monitor progress and adjust strategies
- Demonstrate intervention methods for trainees and caregivers to promote consistency across settings
Qualifications
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and either hold RBT certification, be enrolled in RBT training, or commit to completing it through the center’s program. Basic Life Support certification is required within six months of hire.
- Prior experience with children, especially those with special needs, is preferred
- Background in mental health, allied health studies, or direct exposure to autism and developmental disorders is an asset
