Allianz, a global leader in insurance and asset management, is hiring a Quantitative Analyst/Developer for its AIM Life/Health Germany division in Stuttgart. You will be part of the Digital Solution Team, working directly on the evolution of our quantitative portfolio analysis platform to shape the investment strategy for German life and health insurance companies.
What You'll Do
- Develop models and applications to enhance analytical capabilities for portfolio steering.
- Conceptually evolve the internal portfolio simulation environment.
- Extend the investment data platform in close collaboration with database developers.
- Present analyses and project results to AIM management.
- Actively participate in sharing knowledge and best practices within Allianz's global digital community.
What We're Looking For
- A Master's degree in (Financial) Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, or other quantitatively focused fields.
- Good knowledge of capital market instruments, finance, and financial modeling, along with a genuine interest in finance and investment.
- Programming skills in Python, Java, C++, Rust, TypeScript, or C#.
- Experience analyzing, structuring, and processing complex, tabular data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
Nice to Have
- Initial professional experience in areas such as banking, asset management, risk management, insurance, or IT.
